  15. This is the only *REAL* C64 emulator for the PCs. It supports 6510 CPU
  16. instructions, memory management, graphics, sound, timer and raster
  17. interrupts, C64 keyboard is emulated, cursor keys replace joysticks.
  18. You need a fast PC (386-40 or 486-33) with a VGA and SB to feel it real.

  21. The DEMO still has some bugs and maybe it won't run on your computer.

  25. Fast intro:
  26. - run C64S or C64S386 with -sb option if you have a SB, -sp if you wanna
  27.   hear PC speaker
  28. - press F9 to get file selection screen
  29. - select tape/file using cursor keys and confirm with enter
  30. - press shift+tab to load/run the game
  31. - press space to skip intros
  32. - press F10 to turn joystick emulation on
  33. - press F8 for options (check it!)
  34. - press ESC to escape back to dos

  46. Keyboard layout is original C64, a few keys beeing replaced due to
  47. the different PC layout.

  49. Tab     = Run/Stop
  50. F1..F4  = F1/F2..F7/F8
  51. F12     = Restore
  52. Alt     = Commodore

  54. F9         tape/file selection menu
  55. Shift+Tab  loads a file (Shift+Run/Stop)
  56. F10        enables joystick emulation (cursor keys + space)
  57. F8         option screen

  62. Sound Blaster: C64S -sb
  63. PC Speaker:    C64S -sp

  65. The sound speed will usually not be correct. You must play with
  66. the options (press F8) and set the speed of raster and screen
  67. refresh rate according to your computer speed. It's the best
  68. to set screen refresh rate as high as possible and then fine-tune
  69. the speed changing the raster speed (I hope you PC is fast enough).
